| A subdomain basically is a lower branch of a domain name. This is done by our systems by creating a folder with the same name as the subdomain and directing all apache requests to that subdirectory. So if you setup sub.domain.com your files would be in the directory called sub under your main accounts public_html directory. It would also be possible to connect to it with www.domain.com/sub. |
